Boxever is architected to handle real-time Big Data workloads across multiple data centers with no single point of failure, providing you with extremely high performance and continuous availability. We support all data formats and types – structured, semi-structured, and unstructured. Our platform is built on Apache Cassandra and Hadoop which is used to power some of the largest websites in the world.
Cloud Architecture
Boxever is a native cloud application. Our system supports infinite scalability and adds computing power automatically as required. It’s a single-instance, multi-tenant platform that works just like Salesforce or Gmail. You no longer have to worry about hardware or software upgrades as we constantly deploy new features and improvements that are requested by all customers.
Availability & Redundancy
Boxever is always available and fully redundant. Our servers are replicated across multiple data centers on multiple continents and requests can be transparently routed to any server should any unforeseen failures occur. Data is also backed up and distributed across multiple geographies and/or data centers and can be configured to adhere to data protection laws in your country or region.
REST API
All data stored in Boxever is accessible through our REST API in both JSON and XML data formats. This interface allows application to send customer and product data to Boxever over HTTP and also enables applications that depend on Boxever’s insight and decision support to access the data when they need it. All data stored in Boxever is always available through our export API and can be downloaded on request.
HTML 5
Boxever provides an intuitive HTML5 web user interface that supports all modern browsers. It’s available everywhere and is accessible through popular smart phones and tablets, such as the iPad, iPhone and Android devices. The interface is familiar to today’s web-savvy employees and aspires to be more like Facebook and Gmail rather than a typical enterprise application.
Security
We at Boxever understand that the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customers’ information are vital to their business operations and our own success. We use a multi-layered approach to protect that key information, constantly monitoring and improving our application, systems, and processes to meet the growing demands and challenges of security. All connections and data passed over those connections are encrypted 256-bit SSL while all data backed up or archived is secured with 256-bit AES.
