Company Improves CX for Mexican Airline with Marketing Automation and Personalization
DUBLIN – (MARCH 6, 2017) – BoxeverTM, the leader in omni-channel personalization for retail brands, today announced strong results from its burgeoning relationship with customer Viva Aerobus, the leading low-cost airline in Mexico. With one “Experience Solution” activated per month, since implementation that kicked off in mid-August, an analysis of one week’s performance by the Boxever Customer Intelligence Cloud revealed it had accrued nearly $1 million in attributable revenue.
“We have been incredibly impressed by Boxever’s speed in moving our project from execution to delivery, with remarkable results in only a matter of months,” said Aurelius Noell, Director of eCommerce and Commercial IT, Viva Aerobus. “Thanks to Boxever, we can now offer our customers even more personalized interactions, which have already resulted in a revenue uplift in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, helping us to keep our quality service at unbeatable prices.”
Results to date have been made possible thanks to a smooth integration with Viva’s back end booking system, Navitaire, as well as a strong collaboration to identify and prioritize key business problems that Boxever could help Viva address. Working closely with Viva’s Revenue Management & eCommerce team, Boxever developed email campaigns to focus on three areas: 1. encourage pre-purchase of baggage; 2. retargeting to those who experienced a failed attempt at payment prior to booking; and 3. cash payment reminders based on a large segment of customers who opt for this deferred payment method at time of booking. Each of these “Experience Solutions” have helped improve conversion rates and ancillary sales, which all benefit the company’s overall revenue, and support Viva´s focus on improving the customer experience.
“Since day one, we hit the ground running by exploring the many ways that Viva’s business could benefit from the use cases that Boxever can solve for them,” said Dave O’Flanagan, CEO, Boxever. “By focusing on its specific needs and desired business outcomes, we successfully proved Boxever’s ability to push beyond the boundaries of what’s been done before to come up with the right custom solutions for Viva. For low cost carriers, in particular, personalization techniques offer an immense opportunity for CX initiatives to take shape and for brands to compete on more than price alone. We’ll continue to look for new ways to enhance Viva’s ability to effectively connect with their customer in the future.”
